Scanning and model of altar from the church in Kórnik

Blue laser scanning. The altar of Jan III Sobieski located in the museum in Kórnik was scanned with a laser scanner. The laser beam emits blue light, which is perfect for museum or church objects, because these types of surfaces cannot be covered with a layer of matting powders in any way. The blue laser works well with objects that emit a lot of reflections.

On the left the finished model after printing. Our task was to scan the altar and make a physical model of the casting mold for further reproduction.

Finished print – available photo of another altar scanned using the same laser scanning technology. Printout in SLA technology.
