We performed a mock-up of a controller enclosure for one of the leading manufacturers of LV switchgear to reduce production downtime. Problems in the global supply chain resulted in extended waiting times for a key component of the equipment, and of course, the waiting time was also extended at the end customer. Through reverse engineering, our company 3D-scanned, modeled and 3D-printed the mock-ups from PET-G material so that subsequent production steps could be implemented which significantly accelerated the delivery of the finished device.
